The Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan TD has today opened the nationwide funding call for the Community Safety Fund 2025 during a visit to Ballymun Garda Station and the Ballymun Implementation Board in Dublin. The annual fund allows for the proceeds of crime, seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) and An Garda Síochána, to be directed into local projects to support and enhance community safety. Over the past few months, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) in conjunction with St. Stephen’s Green Trust have been offering training on political advocacy and communications through our Rochatin programme. .The programme has so far provided three rounds of training to over 150 organisations across the county.
