The purpose of the scheme is to protect the heritage value of historic thatched roof buildings across Ireland, including dwellings and other structures. The closing date for applications is the 20th of December 2024. The Telesis dot pen machine works by stamping your EIRCODE into the item to be marked using a pattern of dots. It varies the strength of the stamp to suit the material it is marking, and can mark carbon fibre, metal, wood, plastic – anything except glass which may shatter. Both rounded and flat surfaces can be marked. The Trim Women’s Shed was set up in April 2023 with the aim of providing a safe space for women over the age of 18, to come together to learn new skills, establish new friendships and to empower each other.  Since the Shed began we have been able to hold many workshops for our members and our membership currently stands at 298 members.  We would love our own home to cater for all of  the workshops but we are thankful for the opportunity to rent spaces within some of the local community spaces.   As we are approaching our 1st birthday we are holding a Fashion Show in Trim... The Boyne Greenway Way, Navan to Oldbridge is a proposed greenway extending from Andy Brennan Park in Navan westwards to Oldbridge joining the existing greenway, an overall length of approximately 26km. It is envisaged to be a flagship scheme for tourism in the county with the potential to promote and enhance the local tourist economy, as well as providing a superior public leisure and recreation amenity for the county’s residents. The Winter Solstice sunrise will stream live again this year from inside the passage tomb at Newgrange, the Office of Public Works (OPW) has announced.
