2. Notice of intention to carry out an assessment of existing and projected Traveller accommodation needs.

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998 Meath County Council (being the relevant Housing Authority specified under the Act) intends to prepare a new Traveller Accommodation Programme for the period of 2025 -2029.

In accordance with the provisions of the above Act, Meath County Council intends to carry out an assessment of the existing and projected accommodation needs for members of the Traveller Community in the Local Authority’s functional area.

Any person or organisation who wishes to make a submission in respect of the intention to carry out an assessment of the existing and projected Traveller Accommodation needs is invited to do so.

Submissions can be made via  Consult https://consult.meath.ie/en/consultation/traveller-accommodation-programme-2025-2029 ,  via email to HousingSubmissions@meathcoco.ie or in writing in a sealed envelope marked “ Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 -2029” and addressed to Senior Executive Officer, Housing Department, Meath County Council , Buvinda House, Dublin Road
