Community Funding Supports:
- Community Support Fund 2023: Grants available to support groups with running costs (electricity, heating, rent, insurance, etc). Funding also available for repairs/improvements of facilities & purchase of equipment (furniture, tools, laptops and printers, lawnmowers, canopies and training equipment etc.). Closing date is 10th February 2023. Details here
- Community & Voluntary Sector Energy Support Scheme: Scheme has re-opened until 20th January 2023 to provide once-off payments to eligible charities and community and voluntary sector organisations towards energy costs in 2022. Details here
- Carranstown Community Grant Scheme 2022: Grant support for community group projects in the vicinity of the Carranstown waste management facility (Carranstown / Duleek and surrounding areas). Closing date 17th February 2023. Details here
- Music Capital Scheme 2022. Music Network grant programme for the purchase of musical instruments for individual professional musicians and non-professional performing groups. Closing date 28th February 2023. Details here
Environment
- Community Water Development Fund 2022: Grants available for community initiatives to protect & manage water quality. Examples include feasibility studies & plans; biodiversity signage; water conservation measures; invasive species control; riparian management and planting; training workshops; Citizen Science initiatives, etc. Closing date is 7th February 2023. Heritage & Conservation:
- Community Monuments Fund 2022: Grants available for the conservation, maintenance, protection and presentation of archaeological monuments. Closing date 30th January 2023. Details here
- Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2023: Grants available for small-scale conservation projects. Closing date is the 23rd January 2023. Details available here.
- BHIS 2023 Routine Maintenance and Minor Repairs. Funding available for routine maintenance and minor repairs. Closing date 23rd January 2023. Details available here
- Historic Structures Fund 2022: Grants available for the conservation & enhancement of historic structures and buildings. Closes 23rd January 2023. Details on the range of funding streams are available here .
- Heritage Council – Heritage Capacity Fund 2022: Funds aims to build the capacity of heritage organisations with a national remit by providing funding towards their core costs. Closing date is the 16th Jan 2023. Details here
- Waterways Ireland: Heritage in the Community Grants Scheme 2023: Grants available for community projects including data collection & research, good heritage practice in managing sites, collections, objects, etc. Closing date January 31st 2023. Details available here
Arts:
- 2023 Artist’s Residency Bursary (Paris): Centre Culturel Irlandais and Meath County Council Arts Office programme. 1-month residency for an artist of any discipline who is based in the county of Meath. Closing date is the 12th Jan 2023. Details here.
Community Education
- Louth Meath ETB Community Education Service – Spring 2023: Community and voluntary groups can apply for free programmes/tuition hours from the ETB. Closing date for application is the 13th January 2023. Details available here.
- Ciste Sheachtain na Gaeilge le Energia 2023: Tá ciste tacaíochta ar oscailt anois agus sinne ag glacadh le hiarratais go dtí 27 Eanáir más mian le grúpaí ó do cheantar cur isteach air.
