Census 2022 Profile 4: Disability, Heath and Carers – Meath
The Central Statistics Office has today published Census 2022 Profile 4: Disability, Health and Carers. This profile looks at the types and extent of long-lasting conditions or difficulties experienced by the population, on our general health, and of carers providing unpaid care in Ireland.
It shows that more than 43,000 people in Meath experienced at least one long-lasting condition or difficulty while more than 87% in the county stated that their health was very good or good.

This is the most detailed set of data produced from the Census 2022 results covering topics such as sex, age and marital status, families, housing, education, commuting and occupation as well as new topics such as volunteering and childcare.
