The 2025 Enhancing Quality Fund aims to promote continuous improvement and innovation using a process of problem-solving in prevention and early intervention services for children and young people. The PEACEPLUS Change Maker Funding Programme is open for applications. The Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan TD has today opened the nationwide funding call for the Community Safety Fund 2025 during a visit to Ballymun Garda Station and the Ballymun Implementation Board in Dublin. The annual fund allows for the proceeds of crime, seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) and An Garda Síochána, to be directed into local projects to support and enhance community safety. After their recent 5km Community Fun Run, Enfield Development Group – EDG had a lot of queries and interest in an Enfield Parkrun (a weekly 5km event, every Saturday at 9.30am). The Community Water Development Fund (CWDF) is a grants scheme to enable community driven projects that will help improve water quality. The fund has been in existence since 2018 when it awarded €180,000 and has grown to €702,000 worth of awards in 2024.
