EU Funds Ireland Managing Authorities, including the ESF+ Managing Authority, have launched Our Ireland, Our EU, a national photography competition inviting members of the public to capture how EU co-funded projects are making a difference to everyday life across Ireland.

Organised by DPER in collaboration with the Managing Authorities, the competition is being hosted on the eufunds.ie website: https://eufunds.ie/photo-competition/.

The competition aims to celebrate how EU-funded projects support communities, people and places around Ireland. The competition is open to all adults resident in Ireland to enter.

Participants can submit photographs from now until 7 June, under one or both of the following categories:

• Project locations (a full list of eligible locations – including those suggested by ESF+ implementing bodies – is available from the competition page)
• People and participation (all photos entered under this category must clearly relate to an EU-funded activity and participants will be asked to briefly describe the project/initiative shown)

Following the submission phase, eligible photographs will be published on eufunds.ie, where members of the public will be invited to vote for their favourite images within each category. Prizes will be awarded to the photographs that receive the highest number of public votes, in line with the competition rules.
