As part of the Irish Prostate Cancer Outcomes Research (IPCOR) programme, Prostate Cancer Ireland is supporting a UCD/IPCOR study exploring the experiences, information needs and support needs of partners of people diagnosed with prostate cancer.

What the study is about

The study is an anonymous online survey for people who are currently, or have previously been, the partner of someone diagnosed with prostate cancer in Ireland or Northern Ireland. This includes partners of people managed with active surveillance or watchful waiting, as well as partners of people who have received prostate cancer treatment.

The survey asks about intimacy, communication, emotional wellbeing, information and support needs following a prostate cancer diagnosis. It should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

If you have a current or former partner who may be interested, we would be grateful if you would forward the attached Participant Information Leaflet and survey link to them. Forwarding this information is entirely voluntary, and your partner can decide independently whether they wish to take part.
