Neighbourhood Apple Tree Map

Johnstown Tidy Towns is compiling a community map to help local apple trees find pollination partners and improve future harvests.

Whether you already have an apple tree or are looking to plant one, this project will help residents choose the right varieties and help us map vital biodiversity corridors across the area.

FREE apple trees to pairs of neighbouring households

If you would like a free apple tree, partner up with at least one nearby neighbour, send us a short message via JohnstownTidyTowns@gmail.com or Johnstown Tidy Towns Facebook messenger and include your Eircode and your neighbour’s. 

Stocks are limited, first come first reserved, collection date from Johnstown 8th August, time and location to be confirmed. Trees are potted, easy to look after, and you can prune them to desired size.
