Powerscourt Estate is calling on the public to get out into nature this May and nominate the individuals, community groups, organisations and small businesses helping to protect, restore and reconnect people with the natural world.

Now in its second year, the Working with Nature Awards recognise meaningful action, grassroots innovation and inspiring stories helping nature to thrive across the island of Ireland.  The awards are open to nominations in three categories: Biodiversity & Rewilding, Nature Media, and Nature Education & Wellbeing

We are delighted to announce a new addition to the Awards. The overall winner and ‘Outstanding Nature Protector’ will now also receive a place on the prestigious ‘Leaders for Nature’ leadership programme (valued at €2,000), developed by Common Purpose Ireland in partnership with Leave No Trace Ireland and Native Events, alongside the Ultimate Powerscourt Experience prize package.

We have also extended the deadline for nominations until Thursday 11 June, allowing more time for communities, individuals, organisations and small businesses across Ireland to submit nominations.

The awards celebrate practical and inspiring action taking place across Ireland across three categories:

Biodiversity & Rewilding
Nature Media
Nature Education & Wellbeing

Nominations can be submitted here:
