Meta’s 2027 Data Centre Community Action Grants are now open.

This is the ninth cycle of our annual grant programme in Meath. The first open call ran in 2018, and since the first grants were awarded in 2019 Meta has provided over €4.8 million in direct giving to 186 projects across the county — supporting schools and not-for-profits that build local connections, create tech-inspired community innovation and strengthen STEAM education.

Across the county there were several really strong projects in this year’s round. To see the full list, view the 2026 grantees.

As you know, Meta is committed to playing a positive role and investing in the long-term vitality of Meath, home to our Clonee Data Centre.

Grants support projects that address local needs by:

• Putting technology to use for community benefit
• Enabling people to build strong, sustainable communities
• Improving local STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) education

The open call runs from 14 September to 19 October 2026, with applications made through ChangeX.
