Call for Nominations: Represent Meath County Council at the 2026 IPB Pride of Place Awards – closing date 4th May

Meath County Council is inviting community groups across the county to apply to represent Meath at the 2026 IPB Pride of Place Awards, in association with Co-operation Ireland.
Now in its 24th year, the Pride of Place Awards celebrate the outstanding work of community groups who make a real difference in their local areas. The competition recognises the spirit, pride, and dedication that strengthen communities and enhance quality of life across Ireland.
Who Can Apply:
Community and voluntary groups, residents’ associations, youth initiatives, and local organisations that demonstrate pride in their place, inclusivity, and strong community partnerships.
Award Categories Include:
- Villages and towns (by population)
- Climate Action & Biodiversity
- Community Wellbeing
- Creative Communities
- Community Youth Initiative
- Inclusive Communities
- Community Tourism Initiative
- Age Friendly Communities
- Urban Neighbourhoods and Housing Estates
