Meath Local Sports Partnership is delighted to once again support women in taking on leadership roles in sport through our Women in Sport Leadership Development Programme 2026.

Do you know a woman in your club with leadership potential? Or are you a coach, volunteer, parent, or club member looking to build your confidence, develop new skills, and expand your network?

This programme is designed to empower women aged 18+ to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Start Date: Wednesday, 16th September 2026

8 modules delivered through a blend of online and in-person sessions

6 Wednesday evenings (7pm – 9pm)

2 half-day Saturday workshops (lunch included)

Interactive leadership development sessions

Unique equine-centred leadership workshop

Cost: €50 per participant

(Subsidised through the Sport Ireland Dormant Accounts Volunteer Support Programme)

Application Deadline: Friday, 14th August

Applicants must be:

Aged 18+

Nominated by their club

Interested in, or currently undertaking, a volunteer role

Able to attend all programme sessions
