Census 2022 Profile 2 Housing: Meath
The Central Statistics Office has today published Census 2022 Profile 2 Housing in Ireland, which presents a comprehensive picture of the housing landscape in Ireland in April 2022.
Profile 2 shows that the rate of homeownership is continuing to decline and that there has been an increase in the number of renters aged 65 and over.
In Meath, the housing stock grew by 11% to 78,759. There were 5% fewer vacant dwellings and the number of holiday homes grew by 41%.
