Take Back Control: October QUIT Campaign in Meath
This October the HSE is inviting smokers to ‘Take Back Control’ this month by signing up to the 28 day no smoking challenge. Those who quit for 28 days are five times more likely to quit for good. More information about the campaign can be found in the attached documents or at #TakeBackControl
We hope that this campaign will see a good take up of our excellent stop smoking services. If you know someone who would like support to quit smoking, there is free support available for anyone who wants to quit. As of 2022 HSE Stop Smoking Services are able to offer free stop smoking medications to anyone who attends our services and who does not have a medical card, this is a huge saving for many people and ensures that everyone gets fair access to the optimum treatment which is behavioural support and medications.
