ALL IRELAND SEAN-NÓS DANCE FEST, ATHBOY, 23rd/24th June

Friday 23rd:  9pm, Rath Cairn.  Finalists in ‘Ireland’s Traddest Family’ – The Durcans, followed with a talk by Colm McQuinn on ‘Letters from the Trenches’, followed by a session ceoil.

Saturday 24th:  St James’ Hall, Athboy.  Sean-nós dance classes from 11.00am with Connemara native John Joyce.  4.30pm:  All Ireland sean-nós dance competitions – adults and children in Athboy, Co Meath. Prizes:  children: trophies.  Adults:  1st: €200, 2nd: €100, 3rd:  €50, senior-senior (55+) €50.
