Each month we are hosting meet ups and discussions on topics of interest requested by you. Anyone with an interest in environmental and sustainability issues is welcome to attend these meet ups, even if you are not a member of an environmental group. I hope you can join us to meet others from around the country who are interested in and working on climate and sustainability issues.

This month we are discussing group membership, and how to grow an active membership base in your group.

Our guest speaker for the evening, Peter Couchman, Marketing and Development Coordinator for Irish Seed Savers. Peter has spent most of his working life in the consumer co-op movement in the UK, working on how to develop membership there. He will be sharing what he sees as the seven key things to consider when it comes to membership.

Following the presentation we will have a Q&A. We will finish off the evening with cross-county group discussions to share our own experiences of memberships. Recordings of the presentation will be made available afterwards.
