Meath CLÁR Programme 2021: now open for applications

CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd-Riachtanais) is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in areas that experience disadvantage.

The 2021 scheme is now open.

On Monday, March 15th 2021 Heather Humphreys TD, Minister for Rural and Community Development launched the 2021 CLÁR programme

There are a number of measures being proposed for funding for 2021:

  • Measure 1: Support for Schools/Community Safety Measure
  • Measure 2: Outdoor Community Recreation Facilities
  • Measure 3: Community Wellbeing Measure, comprising:
    • (a) Community Gardens & Allotments
    • (b) Mobility and Cancer Care Transport
  • Innovation Measure

 

The closing date for the receipt of applications under Measures 1, 2 and 3(a) is Wednesday, 21st April 2021.  Completed application forms for Measures 1, 2 and 3(a) are to be submitted to community@meathcoco.ie.

The closing date for the receipt of applications under Measure 3(b), which are to be submitted directly to the Department of Rural and Community Development at CLAR@DRCD.gov.ie is Friday 7th May 2021. 

The closing date for the receipt of expressions of Interest for the Innovation Measure, which are to be submitted directly to the Department of Rural and Community Development at CLAR@DRCD.gov.ie is Friday 21st May 2021.
