COVID-19 has obviously hit the Irish nonprofit sector hard. Traditional methods of fundraising have been decimated in 2020, threatening the ability of so many organisations to continue serving the communities and service users who depend on them. However, that is not to say all is lost…
We invite you to join us online on the afternoon of Wednesday, 11 November (2.30pm – 4.30pm) for Meet, Share and Learn, our FREE virtual gathering of nonprofits in North Connacht, Ulster and North Leinster.
The special focus for this event is on understanding the COVID-19 funding landscape and where to focus the efforts of your nonprofit, with fresh insights from Hugh O’Reilly, The Wheel’s Director of Business Development. Hugh has a wealth of experience and practical knowledge when it comes to the task of diversifying your funding streams and securing alternative income sources.
In addition to Hugh’s timely input, this online meeting will also cover:
- Networking with local nonprofits and sharing the important work you are doing
- Key upcoming opportunities for Irish nonprofits
- Available supports and resources for organisations and communities dealing with COVID-19
- The pathway to recovery for our nonprofit organisations, once this pandemic passes.
The session will run from 2.30PM to 4.30PM. You are welcome to join us from 2.15PM for a virtual coffee and chat and to resolve any technical issues.
This is a free event, but registration is essential.
We look forward to welcoming you on 11 November!
