The Wheel: Diverse Leadership in Our Sector – Free Online Workshop, 25th June
With anti-racism protests taking place across the world, it is important to reflect on how the issue intersects with our sector’s work.
We invite you to join a panel of distinguished sector representatives on Thursday, 25 June as they explore the impact of race on their professional lives and their organisations’ activities.
At this event, our speakers will reflect on their own leadership journeys, explore their organisations’ experiences of fighting racism, and consider how we can make our sector a more inclusive place for all.
The panel will be hosted by author, activist, and academic, Dr. Ebun Joseph, and will include:
· Salome Mbugua, Head of Operations and Strategy with AkiDwA
· Veronica Bokeng Akale, Board Member with New Communities Partnership
· Owodunni Mustapha, Volunteer Ireland’s Christine Buckley Volunteer of the Year 2019.
Date: Thurs, 25 June 2020 | Time: 10am to 11:30am | Cost: Free to attend
