We are very aware of the difficulties being experienced by employers in the charity, community & voluntary, and social enterprise sector at present. In particular, we have noticed the rising number of nonprofit organisations seeking assistance with matters pertaining to human resources (HR) and employment law.
And so, we are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new HR & Employment Law Helpdesk.
Brought to you in association with Adare Human Resources Management, and with vital support coming from the Medtronic Foundation, this new helpdesk service will provide confidential and expert guidance to you and your nonprofit during the COVID-19 crisis.
Who Can Use the Service?
All voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises are encouraged to put our helpdesk to the test by submitting your considered request for HR and/or employment law guidance.
In particular, the service is geared towards providing you with:
· Up to date HR and Employment Law information to organisations
· Advice and guidance to organisations on all key areas of HR and Employment Law.
The helpdesk is not designed to provide organisations within the sector with in-depth review and analysis on complex employment law issues or oversee ongoing HR and employment law matters. (Should organisations have these requirements they can engage directly with Adare Human Resource Management.)

Wage Subsidy Scheme Helpdesk
In addition to the new HR & Employment Law Helpdesk service described above, we remind you also that our new Wage Subsidy Scheme Helpdesk – overseen by Tony Ward, The Wheel’s Director of Finance – is already up and running.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to once again highlight the crucial support of our partners at the Medtronic Foundation, who have made a number of generous donations across the Irish community and voluntary sector, including a grant to The Wheel for the purpose of establishing our HR & Employment Law and Wage Subsidy Scheme Helpdesks.
With very best wishes in these very challenging times.
