Dunshaughlin Famine  Graveyard Commemoration Ceremony  will be held on Sunday 26th May at 3pm in the Famine Graveyard behind Dunshaughlin Workhouse on the Dublin Road.  This is an annual event and coincides with National Famine Commemoration Ceremonies which are being held countrywide in May. It is estimated that there are 1,000 people buried here.   There will be refreshments afterwards in Dunshaughlin Pastoral Centre  a talk on” Life in the Workhouse “.  Everyone is welcome to join us.
