The event is hosted by the Migrant Network Group & Cultúr Migrant Centre
The Migrant Network Group formed from women coming togther to address some of the issues facing migrants in their bid to integrate.
The aims & objectives of the network include
- To empower and support migrants, particularly those who are most vulnerable so that they feel safe and confident to navigate complex migrant challenges, maximise opportunities and fulfill their potential
- To promote migrant rights and strengthen social cohesion in Ireland
- To address issues around racism, migrant young adults, clash of culture and domestic violence.
Current members are drawn from Irish, Asian, Jamaica, Brazil, Syria, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Kenya, Malawi, Sudan, Kurdish, Polish.
