The Department of Health is developing a new National Drugs Strategy to run from 2017 onwards. As part of the public consultation process, the feedback and input from communities and stakeholders is critical.

To capture the views and input of communities in the North East region, the NERDATF will run a series of public meetings in each county.
The Meath public meeting will take place on Thursday 13th October 2016. The meeting will take place in the Navan O’Mahonys GAA Club, Brews Hill, Navan. The meeting will begin at 7.30pm.

Members of the Meath community and stakeholder organisations are welcome. Given the impact of drug and alcohol use in our communities, it is important that the input of the Meath community is captured with regard to the current strategy and the issues, needs and resources that the new strategy should address. Issues raised during the meeting will be collated and forwarded to the Dept. of Health as part of the public consultation process.
