Crosscare: Africa Day
Africa Day was held on Saturday 24th May. Crosscare’s new communities integration officer has been engaging young people from our IPA centres in DLR. The day was a great success funded by DLRCOCO (LAIT ) and hosted by Crosscare and CULA. The young people enjoyed drumming, Dancing, spoken word, face/body painting, football and African food.

PCSA: Have Your Say on Policing Priorities
The Policing and Community Safety Authority has launched a Public Consultation on Policing Priorities for the Garda Síochána for 2026-2028. This user-friendly online tool allows you to spend ‘points’ on the areas of policing that you consider are most important. It will take about 10 minutes to complete, and there is a short, optional survey at the end. Open to anyone over the age of 16. Deadline: 8th June

Vhi are partnering with the Irish Youth Foundation again this year to manage the 2025 Vhi Health & Wellbeing Fund. A fund of €85,000 is available to community-based projects and programmes that are focused on empowering young people aged 12-25 years. Deadline: 11th June
