County Meath Heritage Strategy 2023-2030: Have your say by 5pm 28th February
The County Meath Heritage Forum, facilitated by the Heritage Office of Meath County Council, is preparing a new County Heritage Strategy and we would like to hear your views.
The County Heritage Forum includes elected representatives, representatives from the community and voluntary sector and a wide range of organisations and state agencies with an active interest in or responsibility for Meath’s heritage.
The Heritage Act, 1995 states that the national heritage includes: Monuments, Archaeological Objects, Heritage Objects, Landscapes, Heritage Parks and Gardens, Seascapes, Inland Waterways, Architectural Heritage, Flora, Fauna, Wrecks, Wildlife Habitats and Geology.
We want to know the aspects of Meath’s Heritage that you value and want to see celebrated and conserved. We are seeking your input in setting the priorities for Meath’s Heritage Strategy by completing the survey below on or before February 28th, 2023.
Information gathered during this process will feed into Meath County Council’s new Heritage Strategy, which will guide priority areas of action in Meath up to 2030.
We would appreciate your help by taking the time to complete the survey here.
