Social Enterprise data collection initiative is a research programme being undertaken on behalf of the Department of Rural and Community Development by a consortium of Amárach Research; ILDN and SERI.

The survey outcomes will ensure that the Department is in a better position to support the sector and develop social enterprise policy, with a strong and robust evidence base. We are seeking to scale and scope the size of the social enterprise sector in Ireland.

We all know that social and community based organisations are having a huge impact locally, regionally and nationally. This survey is designed to help quantify the nature of these activities for organisations that are in the Social Enterprise category.  The picture that emerges from the combined results will enable better planning and support for this sector for the future.

When respondents click on this link,

https://panel.amarachsurveys.ie/S2/159/SE603/

they will be brought to an Amárach Research server and they can compete the survey there.

The data collected through this survey will be used only for research purposes and will not be used in relation to any funding applications. No information will be published that could identify any organisation.

This survey will remain open until end of day on Friday 14th October.

At the end of the survey, respondents will be asked if they wish to participate in the prize draw open to those organisations who complete the questionnaire – there are 3 x prizes of €500 each to be won.

The project will be completed by the end of the year and the results published on www.gov.ie.
