The Age Friendly Programme operated by Meath County Council is about older persons and ensuring their communities are better places to grow old in.
We are in the process of developing a new Age Friendly Meath strategy (2022-2026).
The Programme focuses on 8 main areas:
• Outdoor Spaces & Buildings;
• Respect & Social Inclusion;
• Social Participation;
• Communication & Information;
• Civic Participation & Employment;
• Community Support & Health Service
As part of the process of developing the new strategy, we would like to hear directly from older persons aged 55 years and older in Co. Meath.
