OPEN CALL – Meath Local Live Performance Programming Scheme 2021
Meath County Council Arts Office invites applications from professional musicians and performers who wish to be considered for paid performance opportunities arising under the Meath Local Live Performance Programming Scheme, funded by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
Under this scheme a blended programme of outdoor live and filmed streamed performances at a selection of events in the county is currently being developed.
This Open Call is open to professional performers and musicians only; all genres of performance are invited to apply (music, dance, circus, spectacle etc).
The programme will be selected by an external curator and due to anticipated volume of submissions, feedback will not be given on applications.
Completed open call applications must be made on the official application form and must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday: 6th August 2021 @ 1pm

From this open call, an independent curator will invite a range of performances which will be approximately:
5-10; 30-45 minutes duration (live)
3-7 mins (streamed).
Should public health restrictions change, or in the event that Meath County Council deem this to be more appropriate, all performances may be recorded or streamed.
It is envisaged that in most cases selected performers will be offered one performance.
This open call invites applications from professional performers and musicians only. All genres of performance are invited to apply (music, dance, circus, spectacle etc).
Performers / Musicians must live in or work in Co Meath.
Performances will be scheduled in a variety of locations in the period August to September 2021 and some flexibility around dates may be required.
All applicants agree to abide to health and safety requirements.
