Fáilte Ireland has appointed a multi-disciplinary team to review the established Boyne Valley Drive and its wider landscape setting to advise on opportunities to help make it a world class experiential route that celebrates both the heritage assets and the wider Boyne Valley setting.

The design team is led by The Paul Hogarth Company (Landscape Architects and Urban Designers) and includes Atkins (Sustainable Transport Consultants) and Repucon Consulting (Tourism Advisors).

At this stage, we would like to review our initial findings with the public to verify our understanding of the Boyne Valley Drive’s potential and shape emerging thoughts on future proposals.

Opportunities will focus on developing the visitor experience along the route. However, where opportunities exist to improve the existing infrastructure in a complementary way this will be considered.

A set of consultation boards is available that share what we know about the current situation and our thinking in terms of a proposed approach
