Access for All: DFI network virtual meeting June 10th
Save the Date: (Online) National Access for All Meeting
June 10th 2020 at 11am
DFI invite you to join us online for a virtual meeting of Access and Disability Interest Groups from Across the country.
Please let us know if you are available to attend the meeting by Friday June 5th. It is important that we know the number of people that will be attending to ensure we have the technical resources we need to host the meeting online.
Please also let us know if you require a sign language interpreter for the meeting. We will be booking an interpreter but will cancel the booking in advance if we have not heard from anyone who will need interpretation to attend.
We will be hosting the meeting on Microsoft Teams. We find the platform user-friendly with good accessibility features. If you have not used Teams before, please don’t let this put you off. You won’t need to download any software to use Teams. We will send you a link via email and once you click that link you will be able to immediately join the meeting. We will do a quick demonstration of some features at the beginning of our meeting for anyone who is unsure.

We will be in touch with a full agenda before the 5th of June. In the meantime, if you have anything you would like to raise or have any questions, please let us know.
This invitation is open to all of your groups members. It will not be necessary to nominate a representative of the group to attend. In many cases, we don’t have contact details for all of your groups members so please pass this on and encourage as many people to attend as possible – while remembering to RSVP!
Finally, we are conscious of making emails and any documents we create as accessible as possible. If you’ve had any issues reading the content of this email, please let us know.
We look forward to seeing you all on our screens on the 10th.
Stay Safe and Take Care,
Laura & the DFI Community Team
