EU Projects Seeking Irish Partners

The Wheel, Ireland’s national association for community, voluntary and charitable organisations are the National Contact Point for a grant scheme called Europe for Citizens which funds projects relating to European democratic engagement, migration and cultural heritage. County councils can apply and usually make up the majority of partners in projects.

The Call for Proposals is now open for the Network of Towns strand and closes 1 March 2019 @ 11am

 

Also, the following projects are looking for Irish partners NOW so let me know on any of the following:

Alzira, Spain:                                      Towns and the integration of migrants

Gallipoli, Italy:                                   Network of handicraft cities/cultural/arts

Carlopoli, Italy:                                Integration policies for communities

Western Slovakia:                           Developing ‘clusters’ on industry, tourism etc

Fundao, Portugal:                            Share experiences/practice of welcoming migrants

Razkirzje, Slovenia:                        Strengthening ways to tackle climate change

Panevezys, Lithuania:                    Businesses, citizenship and volunteering

Freguesia, Portugal:                        Travelling art installations on volunteerism
