Training: Best Practice for Community Groups- Meath PPN & Ómra: 11th & 25th March 2026

Do you want to develop your community groups impact and capacity? Join us for a two-part workshop designed specifically for local groups to strengthen their foundations and grow together!
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your committee skills, these sessions offer practical advice and a space to share ideas.
Group Training in Good Practices for Community Groups (Online) is designed for community groups in rural areas, towns and villages that are constituted but do not have a formal legal structure. Across two interactive online sessions, your committee will have the chance to reflect on how your group currently works and build confidence in key areas such as roles and responsibilities, decision-making, record keeping, and communicating with your wider membership. The training will support your group to share the workload more fairly, make decisions more clearly, and put simple, practical systems in place to make running your group easier — helping you to work more effectively, reduce risk, and be better prepared for future opportunities such as partnerships or funding
