We’ll hear an introduction to the LEADER programme with John Orme, Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht. John will introduce the LEADER programme, giving an overview of LEADER from a national perspective. What is the structure of the LEADER programme, who makes decisions for funding allocations, and how do the different committees work and interact?

Hear from PPN Representatives about their own experiences and tips for taking part in LEADER committees.

Please note: This webinar is not about how to apply for funding under the LEADER programme. This webinar focuses on how to engage with LEADER as a PPN Representative. Eg taking part in Local Action Groups, LEADER Evaluation Committees, Local Development Companies etc, or for people interested in being elected for these roles.
