Administered by Meath County Council on behalf of Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, the overall aim of the CCAP Strand 1 Programme is to provide finance to community groups interested in undertaking projects which help to build low carbon, sustainable communities.

Phase 2: Project Milestones

1. Applications will open from 13th October 2025 and close at 12 noon on Tuesday 9th December 2025.
2. Evaluation Period by MCC &DCEE, 15th December 2025 – 31st March 2026
3. Successful & unsuccessful applicant community groups will be notified in April 2026.
4. Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU’s), deliverables and milestones to be in place by 26th April 2026.
5. Successful projects will begin from 27th April 2026 with an 18 month period, projects to be complete by 27th October 2027.
