FASN is a peer-led, trauma-informed organisation supporting families affected by addiction across Ireland’s North East. We work in rural communities where services are scarce, and stigma runs deep — offering hope, healing, and connection.  I’m writing on behalf of the Family Addiction Support Network (FASN) to invite you to sponsor our upcoming Annual 5K Run, taking place 12^th October 2025 in Dundalk.

This event is more than a fundraiser — it’s a lifeline. Every euro raised helps us continue delivering vital, trauma-informed support to families affected by addiction across the North East. These families often face isolation, stigma, and emotional distress, and our peer-led services offer them connection, hope, and practical tools to rebuild their lives.

FASN operates in a deeply rural and underserved region, and our work is sustained almost entirely through volunteerism and community generosity. The 5K Run is our flagship fundraising event, drawing participants from across Louth, Meath, Cavan, and Monaghan. It’s a celebration of resilience, recovery, and community spirit.  We would be honoured to have your support. Sponsorship contributions will go directly toward:

• Maintaining our 24-hour helpline
• Facilitating peer-led family support groups
• Providing one-to-one advocacy and crisis intervention
• Expanding outreach to families who have nowhere else to turn

We can offer logo placement on event materials, social media recognition, and signage on the day — but more importantly, your support will be felt by families who need it most.
