Applications for the MSc in Applied Community-Led Development for Wellbeing are now open and will close on May 23rd. The programme will start in September 2025. This course is a two-year, part-time, blended offering.

The programme was developed in consultation with providers of community development and related services across the voluntary and public sectors. In response to this consultation, the programme has the following design features:

• REAL-LIFE WORK-BASED challenges from course participants’ workplaces will be used to address module assessment requirements and share learning across organisations, to build capacity, co-create knowledge and enhance community well-being. This will also offer value to employers.
• RESEARCH-BASED learning methods are widely used to explore and address relevant and interesting challenges and to develop innovative and sustainable approaches to enhance community well-being.

The programme will offer graduates opportunities to:

• Enhance their career promotion potential
• Network with like-minded professionals
• Learn from the experiences of classmates in similar organisations
• Leverage their work projects for academic credit
• Contribute to and co-create new knowledge through engagement with like-minded community development change makers
• Bring exciting and innovative ideas back to their workplace
• Earn a well-respected qualification delivered by dynamic lecturers
