National Learning Network is hosting a National Open Day on Wednesday April 30th, when more than 30 centres across the country open their doors to the public.

National Learning Network (NLN) is the education and training division of Rehab Group. NLN provides inclusive education and training opportunities with specialist student supports to promote student success in personal, vocational, and occupational goals.

NLN has supported hundreds of neurodivergent individuals into employment or progress to further education in the last five years.

To coincide with World Autism Awareness month, NLN training centres nationwide are hosting a National Open Day on Wednesday April 30th at 11am focusing on breaking down the barriers to employment for neurodivergent individuals. In addition, people can visit NLN locations in every county to see the various learning options with pathways to further education, higher education, and jobs.

In recent years, significant progress has been made in increasing awareness and acceptance of neurodivergent individuals. However, Autistic people still face considerable discrimination and barriers to access and participation in all aspects of society, including education and work in Ireland. NLN has a large Autistic community, with almost 40% of the student population identifying as Autistic.

Join us for our NLN National Open Day which is focused on empowering neurodivergent individuals on their journey to meaningful and fulfilling careers.

NLN’s National Open Day runs across all centres on Wednesday, April 30th from 11am to 1pm and is open to all. We extend a warm invitation to visit your local NLN centre. You can find and contact your nearest centre here or contact info@nln.ie for further information.
