We’re Hiring: Global Youth Work Project Officer
Are you passionate about Global Citizenship Education, Global Youth Work and working on global issues? Have you experience working as a Trainer on Global Youth Work and Global Citizenship Education and Global Issues? Have you experience using monitoring and evaluation tools? We’re hiring a Global Citizenship Education / Global Youth Work Project Officer. Deadline: Wednesday January 29th 2025.

Local Champions initiative open for applications
We are expanding our “Local Champions” initiative, and are recruiting new young people who have benefited from youth work to advocate in their communities, as part of our Youth Work Changes Lives campaign. If you are 18–30 years old, this could be the opportunity for you! Deadline: 14th February.

€2,500 available for STEAM in Youth Work Partnership Project
We are looking for partners to work with us on delivering a range of STEAM in Youth Work projects for young people aged  10-25 all over Ireland. Project payments of up to €2,500 are available for each participating youth work organisation. Deadline: Tuesday, Feb 4th
In advance of the deadline we will also host an online session on Thursday 21st January.

AsIAm: Call for Abstracts – 14th Autism Europe International Congress
AsIAm, Ireland’s Autism Charity, will be hosting the 14th Autism-Europe International Congress, which will take place from 11th – 13th September 2025 in the RDS in Dublin. The theme of the 14th Autism-Europe Congress is Quality of Life: Research, Policy & Practice, and they are now accepting abstracts from interested researchers and academics, and people with lived experience of the theme.

Youth Work Ireland: Online Youth Café
Youth Work Ireland with the support of the DCEDIY’s LGBT+ Community Fund is delighted to announce the launch of a new online youth cáfe to support marginalsed young LGBTQI+ people aged 18-24, as part of their Proud Spaces project.

IAYO: Forum for Young Orchestral Musicians
The IAYO Youth Sub-Committee, supported with funding from the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, are proud to announce that the ‘Hear Us Play, Have Our Say’ forum for young orchestral musicians, aged 16 to 25 years of age, will be taking place this February across Saturday, 15 February and Sunday, 16 February. There is no cost to participate. The closing date for applications is Monday, 13 January 2025.
