Public consultation for the Meath Local Economic and Community Plan 2023-2029

Have your say in the new six-year plan to support economic and community development

Meath County Council is encouraging people to share their views and vision for the County as part of a public consultation period for the Meath Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) 2023-2029.

The LECP is a six-year plan to support the economic and community development of County Meath. It is developed by Meath County Council, in consultation with its stakeholders, including the people living and working in the County.

To help capture community feedback and input, members of the public can have their say via an online survey (www.bit.ly/MeathLECP)

An online information evening will take place from at 7-8pm on the 15th of November. Please register at this link: www.bit.ly/MEATHLECPEVENT.

At this session, we will ask for feedback on our proposed goals and objectives, which will help establish the key outcomes that will be delivered across 6 key areas:

  • A healthy and resilient County
  • A dynamic economy that supports and meets the needs of its businesses and people
  • Empowered, inclusive and equitable communities
  • Safe, accessible and enriching places
  • A County that works together
  • A sustainable and eco-friendly County.

Alternatively, to attend another consultation session over the next month email your interest to Maria@hubplanning.ie.
