Meath Partnership are delivering free training for adult educators on health literacy and family learning.

This training is part of our Erasmus+ Project called Health@Home where a consortium of international partners developed a series of educational materials for families to encourage their learning on the topic of health literacy. This resulted in the development of health related comics for smaller children, WebQuest challenge activities for teenagers and a manual for parents.

In this training programme, you will gain insights in how to support parents in challenging times, you will develop a thorough understanding of key concepts such as family learning and health literacy, but you will also develop your storytelling skills and learn more about how to use enquiry-based learning in your educational practice. As a result, you will have gained confidence and competency to deliver our Health@Home family learning course for parents to groups you work with.
