Sports Capital Programme Opens for Applications

The Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin TD, and the Minister of State for Sport and the Gaeltacht, Jack Chambers TD, have announced that €40 million is being made available in 2021 under a new round of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP).

The Wheel Launches EU Funding & Social Economy Support Programme

The Wheel has launched Access Europe, a new support and capacity-building programme to help Irish civil society organisations access EU funding. The three-year project is being funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Dublin Bus Launches 2020 Community Spirit Awards

Dublin Bus has announced the launch of the 2020 Community Spirit Awards (CSAs) and invited local voluntary and community groups to apply. Any group located in an area served by Dublin Bus can apply for a grant of €1,000, €2,000 or €5,000.

Nominate a Charity to Receive a Festive Financial Boost

Ecclesiastical Insurance is giving £120,000 to good initiatives as part of its annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign. The specialist heritage, faith, education and charity insurer will be giving 120 different charities an early Christmas gift of a £1,000 donation, with 10 winners announced each weekday from 7 – 22 December.

Charities Regulator Extends Annual Reporting Deadline for Charities to 16 Dec

In recognition of the continuing public health crisis and the difficulties faced by registered charities at this time, the Board of the Charities Regulator has exercised its power to specify an alternative period for the filing of annual reports under section 52 of the Charities Act 2009.
