Create and Fire Station Artists’ Studios Artist Residency Award – Open Call

Create and Fire Station Artists’ Studios invite expressions of interest from collaborative artists with migrant and minority ethnic backgrounds that are based in the Republic of Ireland, for a four week residency award at Fire Station Artists’ Studios (FSAS), situated in Dublin’s City Centre.

The Residency will run during the month of June (2 – 26 June), incorporating International Refugee week (17 – 23 June 2020), offering opportunities for development of practice, discussion, networking, and learning. It offers accommodation, a stipend and aggreed expenses, as well as development support from the Create and FSAS teams.

The residency is funded through the Arts Council of Ireland’s Artist in the Community Scheme, which is managed by Create. This residency opportunity is offered through a partnership between Create and Fire Station Artists’ Studios. It aims to support an artist from a migrant and minority ethnic background to develop their collaborative and socially engaged arts practice.

Artists are invited to submit an expression of interest by the 6th April 2020.
