I am contacting you from The Community Foundation for Ireland to keep you up-to-date with the new developments regarding our Environment and Nature Fund 2019.

This year we committed to further supporting our Environment and Nature Fund and with match-funding from the Environmental Protection Agency EPA and we have established a fund of €100,000 to focus on creating Sustainable Communities through the Circular Economy and Sustainable Consumption and Waste. We are inviting community groups to apply for one of three grants, who are interested in or already working towards these elements of sustainability through implementing local actions focused on national ‘Circular Economy’ priorities.

You can find full criteria and the online application form here. The grants scheme has been devised to reduce consumption and waste in communities throughout the country by supporting the experience and enthusiasm of local community groups. If you could pass this on to any community group or organisation you feel would benefit it would be much appreciated.
