Social Economy Enterprise Development module: TU Dublin

TU Dublin will be running an accredited Social Economy Enterprise Development module from October 2026 to May 2027
The module will provide students with: a thorough understanding of what constitutes the social economy enterprise sector, the challenges the sector faces, the contribution it can make in addressing a range of societal issues and the supports required and provided to strengthen the sector’s development. In particular, it will focus on the contribution social economy enterprises (including co-operatives) can perform in the transition to more sustainable communities and societies.
The module will be delivered via onsite lectures in TU Dublin, Bolton Street campus. It will balance theory and practice and provide students with an understanding of the skills required to develop and sustain vibrant social economy enterprises.
