Applications are invited from Community Groups, Tidy Towns/Village Committees, Residents Associations and other voluntary groups for this years Pride of Place initiative.

The aim of Pride of Place is to work in partnership with communities, to encourage best practice, innovation and leadership in providing vibrant sustainable communities that improve the quality of life for all.

Groups can enter 2 categories and also nominate a Volunteer of the Year or a Junior Helping Hero

• Apply online for Culture & Heritage
• Apply online for Volunteer of the Year
• Apply online for Junior Helping Hero

Completed application forms can be submitted by email to prideofplace@meathcoco.ie or by post to Community Department, Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath C15 Y291

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5:00pm on Friday, 22 May 2026
