The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage has launched a pilot World Heritage Strategic Investment Fund with a total value of €350,000 to support capital investment in Ireland’s World Heritage Properties (WHPs) and Tentative List Sites (TLSs).

Funding is being made available to local authorities and private owners for the conservation, maintenance, protection and promotion of World Heritage in Ireland. 

The fund will support projects that:

🔹 Improve interpretation & presentation of sites (including virtual resources)
🔹 Support urgent conservation works and enhance protection
🔹 Improve accessibility to sites

Completed application should be submitted to Meath County Council on or before Friday the 27^th of February at 5pm.
