Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2026: Meath County Council

Meath County Council, in association with the County Meath Heritage Forum, organises the Community Heritage Grant Scheme.
The grant scheme is a priority for action of the County Meath Heritage Strategy and supported by Creative Ireland. The aim of the scheme is to support community groups and organisations to undertake projects that will gather information, help to appropriately manage, and promote an awareness and appreciation of our heritage.
Meath County Council encourages projects which relate to all aspects of our heritage including monuments, archaeological objects, heritage objects, architectural heritage, flora, fauna, wildlife habitats, landscapes, genealogy, local history, geology, as well as heritage gardens and parks. Projects relating to local history and traditions, placenames, folklore, traditional crafts and skills and museums and archives will also be considered under the scheme.
The closing date for applications is on or before Friday, 20 March 2026
