Meath Community Preparedness Alliance
Meath County Council, in partnership with An Garda Síochána Meath Division, the Health Service Executive (HSE) and Meath Partnership, is pleased to announce the launch of the Meath Community Preparedness Alliance, a new initiative aimed at anyone who feels their household would need additional support during an emergency.
Adverse events – such as severe storms, power outages, or flooding – can disrupt services and affect people across the county including older adults, people with mobility or health challenges, or anyone living alone.
The Meath Community Preparedness Alliance, open to all people living in Co. Meath, is voluntary, confidential, and designed to keep people safe and provide support during such events.
Registering with this initiative means support can be coordinated more efficiently, ensuring households with additional support needs can be identified, contacted, and supported quickly and safely when an adverse event occurs.
