Researchers from the School of Home Economics at St Angela’s ATU Sligo are looking for participants to take part in an online focus group discussion  for a Safefood-funded project exploring how the cost-of-living crisis is affecting food behaviours.

We are looking for people working in the area of food, nutrition, and food behaviours, to provide their expert perceptions and insights of consumer meal planning, food purchasing, food storage practices, cooking behaviours and how the cost-of-living crisis has impacted on these.  You would take part in one online focus group discussion with approximately other 6 participants, facilitated by a member of the research team. The focus group discussion will last approximately one hour and will take place over Microsoft Teams. You will receive a 30-euro voucher as a thank you for your participation.

The next upcoming focus group is scheduled for Wednesday 12th November at 1:30 pm – 2:45 pm.

Anyone who is interest in joining the discussion can please email: aoibhin.mooreheslin@atu.ie  This research has received ethical approval from King’s College London MRM-24/25-51498
