Meath PPN Plenary Event: 29th May 2025 7pm – Duleek Community Facility

This is a gentle reminder about the Plenary event for Meath PPN members on Thursday evening May 29th 2025.
We will be meeting in the the Duleek Community Facility, Navan Road, Duleek, Co. Meath A92 F2HN. Location details are here.
The meeting will start at 7pm with registration from 6.30pm.
Our speaker line-up includes:
Ombudsman – Ger Deering
Ger Deering was appointed Ombudsman Information Commissioner for Ireland in 2022. The Ombudsman’s job is to examine complaints from members of the public who believe they have been unfairly treated by certain public service providers. They provide a free public service that is open and accountable and examines complaints in a fair, independent and impartial way.
Local Community Safety Partnership – Gemma Ryan
Gemma Ryan is the Coordinator of Meath Community Safety Partnership. Local Community Safety Partnerships will build on and replace the Joint Policing Committees (JPCs) and will provide a forum for State agencies and local community representatives to work together to act on community concerns.
Ómra Support Agency – Tina Tully
Ómra provide services to organisations in the community / voluntary / disability / charity sector. They provide many types of training including good governance, child safeguarding and basic level data protection, charity regulation, policy development and group risk assessment.
Community Link Worker: Meath Partnership – Linda Mackey
Linda Mackey is the Community Link Worker with Meath Partnership. The role uses a community development approach, meeting local communities where they are at, identifying local needs and working with communities to develop a range of inclusive responses to meet community concerns and promote positive integration.

Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland
WRI is a pioneering organisation dedicated to the advocacy, education, and support of wildlife rehabilitation efforts across Ireland. We work with a network of veterinary wildlife professionals and rehabilitation centres to offer support and training to ensure that injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife receive the high quality of specialist care they deserve.
